Sage Performance Testing Program Download This program checks and advises on key Windows settings that can impact performance and runs a speed test against the Sage Data files. The test provides a useful benchmark for your system and network performance and enables the results of configuration changes to be measured. The program will also identify any file system drivers that are loaded. These drivers are typically used by Anti Virus and Security software and can severely affect system performance. The program will run in trial mode a few times before requiring a paid for license. These easy to run, proven tests will show you your systems performance and provide a checklist (licensed version only) of things to check potentially saving you time and money on expensive system upgrades. Hundreds of Sage sites have now used this program to help diagnose and fix their performance problems. Download a short video file showing how Transfix works (wmv format - approx 1 mb)
Important Notes Before installing Backup Sage and create a System Restore Point. You MUST Extract / Unzip the download before running the setup. The setup will not run directly from the Zip file. Sage Line 50 must be installed on the machine that you are installing Transfix on. On Vista or Windows 7, the program must be set up and run using the "Run as Administrator" option. User Access Control must be turned off if the Sage Data files are on a Network Drive. If you have any problems or questions just email or call (0771 388 2553)SDO Activation KeyPlease note that you will need to obtain an SDO Activation key directly from Sage Customer Services in order to run the program more than a few times. This key is supplied free of charge and must be entered in Sage Line 50 via the Tools -> Activation -> Enable 3rd Party Integration menu option. Sage Customer Services can be contacted on 0845 1116666 (Great Britain), 0845 2450280 (Northern Ireland), 01 6420863 (Republic of Ireland) An SDO key is required for all applications that use the Sage Data Objects (SDO). Typical Performance Results
These results show significant performance differences. We achieved around 1.2 seconds with our SBS /XP configuration using a Pentium 4 Notebook with 512mb of ram as the SBS2003 Server and a 100 mbit connection.
